Looking for a bathroom design that stands out, look good and is also practical in use and to avoid silly mistakes in design I have listed down few do's and don'ts for bathroom.
Bathroom is one the most expensive room to decorate or rebuild. So you have to make sure all the pipes used in bathroom are of good quality and pipe work should be very accurate. Pipes can leak in future if good quality pipe are not used, which can cause a lot of problem. It would be very difficult for homeowners to remove tiles and fix Pipe or Pipe work.

Selection of Bathroom Tiles is very important in a bathroom. Colour of Bathroom tile should be very subtle and neutral so that even if you look at bathroom three to four years later it doesn't look out of date. You should get a feel of elegance, softness and sophistication. But a mix and match of tiles look more attractive, such as if you have selected a black basin a black background wall tile behind the basin will give your bathroom a totally new look and feel.

Tiles with floral design or self design on it should be avoided. Floral design on each and every tile makes your bathroom look uglier and is out of date. Floral Borders or Mosaic Tiles are still in fashion but should be used only where required.

You need to be sure Tiles and Tile Adhesive both should be waterproof. If Tile Adhesives are not waterproof tiles can come out very easily in few months. I have mentioned few basic points, which are very important if you are looking to renovate or remodel your bathroom.
